Love is in the air

It's springtime and cupid is out and about, stirring the hearts of the young and the old. What better way to celebrate the romance of the season than with roses and a bottle of wine?

So Liz and I have lived together for a while now and let me tell you, she is pretty much the best roomie I could ever ask for :) And her boyfriend, Dave, is super sweet. The two are so adorable together that I just couldn't wait to do a "just for fun" shoot. It was a lovely day with a lovely sunset so we took the chance to snap a few shots. Here's a little peek...

Over the summer I had the pleasure of meeting the Forbes family. We met at a park in Decatur, Illinois for a family fun day. From grandparents to grandbabies, the group had so much fun posing and playing in the sun.

Nick and Jill are an absolutely lovely couple that I met playing volleyball and I was so excited when they asked me to do their engagement photos. Since they are getting married on a beach, we decided to go to Creve Couer Lake for that beachy feeling. Afterwards, we headed to the Botanical Gardens for some fun. Kameron, Evan, and Isaiah

This past week I took the long, exhausting trek to Indiana to visit my family. (Okay, so a four and a half hour drive isn't that bad...)
