So a few months ago I had the privilege of tagging along with my photography professor, the lovely Lisa Hessel, to Megan and Steven's wedding. It was a lot of fun, not to mention a beautiful ceremony! I sincerely appreciated the opportunity to expand my horizons in the world of photography. Here are a couple of shots from the day....

Water Lilies

This Wednesday I went to the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. It was a fabulously lovely day with PERFECT weather! I quite enjoyed my stroll through the park with the beautiful scenery, but my absolute favorite was the water lilies. I just thought I'd share a little beauty of the day!

This summer, I moved into an apartment with my wonderful friends Megan and Liz and when we were discussing how to decorate, we decided on the scheme of red black and white. We talked about what pictures to hang and Liz suggested to showcase some of my stuff, so I went through some pics and pulled out touches of red...

8th grade prom

Rachel had her 8th grade prom last Friday, so I went home to do her hair and makeup. It was fun! She also used one of my old dresses and I must say she was quite a knock out.

This is the group of friends that met up so they could walk in "fashionably late" together. Rachel being the little diva she is had to be in the middle of every picture.

So when I go home and my sister and I find ourselves bored (I know it's so hard to be bored in a town of 3,200 people with NOTHING to do) we go out and take pics. I love my little sister! She is sooooo gorgeous!

For my final project, I chose to do people, and my best friend, Megan, volunteered to help me out. So in the amazing weather we've been having as of late, we headed over to Queeny Park and had some fun!
