The need for speed...

This weekend my friend Joe invited me to go with him to Gateway International speedway for the drag races. I was more than happy to accompany and it gave me a chance to test out my new camera! Here are a few shots from the day.

And where would the drivers be without their trusty pit crew. (Who, may I add, rebuild the engine right there on the spot! Pretty nifty!)

So I'm still getting used to the new camera, so improvement is sure to come. Hopefully one of these days we'll see sunshine again so I can go test it out!
